Abbie T. KaufmanAbbie T. Kaufman

Abbie Kaufman was born and raised in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Abbie entered the legal field in 1999 as a legal assistant. She decided to further her career and enrolled at Madison Area Technical College in the Paralegal program, obtaining her Paralegal Certificate in 2002. Abbie was on the Dean's List throughout her paralegal training.

Abbie is a paralegal-member of Association of Trial Lawyers of America and Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers. Also, Abbie serves on the Education Committee of the Madison Area Paralegal Association. She has experience in plaintiff's personal injury, worker's compensation, medical malpractice, employment law, and criminal defense. She has assisted on cases in litigation in courts throughout the State of Wisconsin as well as in the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin and the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.

In addition to her work as a paralegal, Abbie enjoys dance. Abbie has been involved in dance her entire life from attending conventions to performing in The Nutcracker at the Madison Civic Center as a child. Currently, Abbie teaches jazz and hip-hop classes part-time at a dance studio in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Abbie, her husband Scott, and her daughter Taytan, reside in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
